Our small-scale team of midwives
If you are pregnant and looking for one midwife in Kampen, you also want to know who you will be dealing with during your pregnancy. It is important that you feel completely at ease and that you know that you and the baby are being well cared for. This is only possible if you really know the midwives well and that is why we consciously choose to keep our team small. This way you do not have to introduce yourself every time or tell your story 3 times. We know from research that a close relationship with your midwife will ultimately ensure that you have a more pleasant pregnancy and delivery and that the health of the baby improves. We therefore do everything we can to consult regularly so that we are all aware of how you are doing. In addition, you can call us day and night and you do not have to talk to an assistant first, but you will always get us on the phone yourself and we will also connect this back to each other.
At our midwifery practice in Kampen we do our best to get to know you better and to understand what makes you unique, because every pregnancy and every child is special and requires a personal approach. That is why we invite you now to discover more about us. Learn who we are, where we come from and what we believe in. We are convinced that when you get to know us better, we can build a stronger bond and together we can provide the best possible care that suits you completely.
Sanne
Practice owner & midwife
My name is Sanne, I am 30 years old and the owner of Verloskundigen PuurBegin. Born and raised in Amersfoort, I decided to move to the beautiful polders a few years ago to seek peace and quiet. After first working in a busy, large practice where I sometimes supervised 4 births per night, I consciously chose to set up a small-scale practice. I believe that as a midwife you can only provide the best care if you can really take the time to get to know someone. Being a midwife means being a rock in the surf for you as a pregnant woman, by always being available and knowing what questions you have. Within my practice I also find it important that colleagues know each other well and that is why we regularly do something fun together and combine this with a work meeting. Because we are a very close team, you do not have to tell us your story over and over again, but we know what your wishes are and we all work in the same way. This gives you peace and confidence.
As a midwife, I am there to understand you completely, even when not everything can be expressed in words. People describe me as a warm, honest and committed midwife, with a good dose of down-to-earth humor. During your pregnancy, I am there to listen attentively, to give you the right information and to offer the support and guidance you need during (and after) the birth. You may even consider a beautiful bath birth? Let's create a beautiful and special experience together. We hope to meet you soon!
Willeke
Midwife
“Hallo aanstaande ouders,
Nomy
Midwife
“Dear pregnant women and partners, my name is Nomy and I enjoy working as a midwife within this friendly team. What you can expect from me as a midwife is that I am an open and honest person, I like to offer a listening ear and I guarantee appropriate personal guidance, because no pregnancy and birth is the same. My goal is to ensure that you can look back on a beautiful pregnancy/birth with a good feeling and that you can start a new phase in your life with peace of mind. I hope to meet you all soon!”
Kimberly
Midwife
“Dear parents, in the present, the future or perhaps in a still silent wish...
My name is Kimberly. A while ago I traded Zuid-Limburg to follow my passion to the polder in the north! I have already experienced midwifery from different angles: for example, I worked in Rwanda for a few special months during my final internship. As a midwife, I find it incredibly important to always be by your side, in moments of pure joy, but also in moments where gloom takes over and everything in between. I often hear that I radiate a pleasant calm and infectious enthusiasm and I hope to be able to support you with this as well.
In any case, I am looking forward to meeting and guiding you during this special period. See you soon!“
Sabrina
Midwife
“Dear pregnant women and partners, my name is Sabrina, 34 years old and also a mother myself. I have been able to practice the wonderful profession of midwifery for 7 years now and it still makes me happy every day. I was born in Italy and moved to the Netherlands to work even more in the home environment as a midwife, so that I can assist you with a beautiful home birth or of course in the birth house for a water birth for example. In my spare time I like to make vegetarian pasta and I like to read or write. I look forward to getting to know you!”

My name is Eveline van Dijk Lenselink. I graduated as a midwife in 2011. After working as a primary care midwife for 7 years, I started working in the hospital as a clinical midwife in 2018. In 2019, I became a mother myself of a twin, 2 nice and sweet girls who are already going to school. This has given me the desire and time to learn something new and I can now call myself an ultrasound technician. What an addition to the already fun job I have! From February you can meet me at the ultrasound consultation hour. I look forward to getting to know you and making beautiful and especially good ultrasounds.”
